Student Council

“Glowing with potential, sparkling with promise and Shining with possibility” is how we describe STGPS Student Council. Any school’s pride is its Student council. Student leaders who are elected after a month long process of filing nominations, scrutinizing the applications, campaigning and finally electronic voting are given oath of office in the Investiture Ceremony. Student council assists the Staff in conducting school events and programs. Council members are the leaders who monitor the activity of the fellow learners and keep a close watch on the needs, requirements and grievances if any of the student fraternity and place it before the Principal. These students get constantly trained under the Physical Education Teachers for leadership and personality development and evolve into good leaders. STGPS student council has been doing a meticulous job and is setting an example of discipline, hard work and commitment to the fellow mates.

House System & Intra Mural Competitions

House System in schools instills sense of unity, cooperation and belongingness. Students from 1st std onwards are distributed into 4 houses, they are Dhairya, Sthairya, Shourya and Chaturya. House members stay in the same house till they pass out from School.

Sandhya Chetana

A unique evening assembly is conducted to emphasize on values and Indian tradition. Before the child goes back home, a quick review of the day and its happenings is also done in this assembly. Major focus is on Spiritual orientation and virtues in life.

Functions & Celebrations

Celebrations of all kinds make a very important part of child’s school life. Times when they had fun, played, sang and danced stay fresh in their memories. These are the beautiful little moments that make big memories. The childhood becomes memorable when these bright colors are added to it. To provide happy childhood to all the children and to keep them connected to the roots of our culture, values and traditions school celebrates National festivals, Religious festivals and birthdays of great leaders.

International Cultural Exchange program

School has initiated a Student Cultural Exchange program with SAGINAW VALLEY, STATE UNIVERSITY, USA. One student every year gets a chance to visit a school in USA and learn about the Culture and Educational program there.
