Curriculum & Pedagogy
The school follows a vibrant and robust CBSE curriculum, a curriculum which is very comprehensive, flexible, reflects our culture and identity and has clear measurable targets too. The pedagogy is child centered; outcome based and is based on the philosophy of providing maximum learning experiences to the learner. ICT and Digital learning tools are also used effectively to enhance the understanding of the concepts.
Foundational Stage
(KG to 2nd grade)
Here we emphasize learning through exploration, play and enquiry. At STGPS we are greatly concerned about the physical, socio- emotional, psychological health and well being of the child. Every child learns at his or her own pace. The environment in STGPS is enhanced for effective learning to happen because child interacts with the environment and learns. Guiding them towards Harmonious existence, tolerance and appreciating differences, sense of autonomy, building self esteem is our focus. Children are taught to connect to the immediate environment and become good communicators.
Preparatory Stage
(3rd to 5th grade)
Foundational Literacy and Numeracy is given prime importance. We make learning holistic, integrated, inclusive, enjoyable and engaging. Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing occupies the core of language learning. We do a lot of collaborative learning at this stage.
Subjects: English, Kannada, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Computer Science. Students also have Yoga, Art, Craft, Sports, Swimming, Music, Dance and Library
Middle School
(6th to 8th grade)
Slowly the students are introduced to abstract concepts which require in-depth study. More of discussion, exploration and experiments are conducted during this stage. Project Based learning is one of the most important strategies that we use in this stage.

High School
(9th and 10th grade)
Students are exposed to many subjects and do multidisciplinary study. We promote independent thinking and train our students in the 21st Century skills of Creativity, Critical thinking, Collaboration and Communication. Vigorous Academic program is at the core of all learning
